SS 904L also known as UNS N08904 is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel developed for exceptional corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. It contains high levels of chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and copper, providing superior resistance to strong reducing acids, particularly sulfuric acid, as well as to chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion.
