ASTM A193 B7 stud bolts with ASTM A194 Grade 2H heavy hex nuts, engineered for high-temperature and high-pressure bolting applications. These fasteners are widely used in the oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power generation, and process industries, especially for flanged connections and pressure vessels.
ASTM A193 Grade B7 refers to a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, heat-treated to deliver high tensile strength, superior hardness, and excellent resistance to elevated temperatures and mechanical stress. The corresponding ASTM A194 Grade 2H nuts are manufactured from medium carbon steel, heat-treated for strength and designed to match the mechanical properties of the B7 studs.
These stud bolt and nut assemblies are used with flanges conforming to ASME B16.5, B16.47, and API 6A standards, and are ideal for Class 150 to 2500 flanged joints. Threads are typically rolled or cut, and supplied in UNC (Coarse) or UNF (Fine) series per ANSI/ASME B1.1.
We provide stud bolts in both full thread and double-end configurations, with lengths ranging from 1″ to 72″ and diameters from ½” to 4”. Coating options include plain, zinc plated, hot-dip galvanized, PTFE (Xylan), or cadmium plating, based on service conditions and client requirements. Click Here For Pipes
