ERW Pipes

ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) pipes are manufactured by rolling metal sheets and welding the seam using high-frequency electric resistance. These pipes offer a smooth surface finish, uniform wall thickness, and tight dimensional tolerances, making them ideal for low to medium pressure applications in water pipelines, structural systems, fire-fighting networks, oil & gas distribution, and general engineering.

ERW pipes are a cost-effective and efficient alternative to seamless pipes when used in appropriate service conditions. They are commonly made from carbon steel, mild steel, and low alloy steels, and are widely used in both above-ground and underground systems. They exhibit excellent weld integrity and are suitable for carrying fluids, air, and non-corrosive gases.

At Middle East Piping, we stock and supply ERW pipes in accordance with international standards such as ASTM A53, ASTM A252, EN 10217, and IS 1239 / IS 3589. Pipes are available in a wide range of outer diameters (OD) from ½” to 24”, and in various wall thicknesses and pressure grades including SCH 10, SCH 40, and SCH 80.
