Pipe Caps, also referred to as End Caps or Metallic Pipe Caps, are protective fittings used to seal the end of piping systems across various industrial and commercial applications. Designed to prevent leakage, contamination, and mechanical damage, these components play a critical role in maintaining pipeline integrity during operation, testing, transportation, or shutdown. Pipe caps are widely utilized in oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, power generation, chemical processing, and HVAC systems.
Manufactured using materials such as Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel (304/316), Duplex, Alloy 20, and Nickel Alloys, pipe caps offer excellent resistance to corrosion, pressure, and temperature fluctuations. Depending on the application, caps can be supplied as buttweld, socket weld, or threaded types. The most common form is the buttweld pipe cap, conforming to ASME B16.9 and designed for permanent end closures that can be welded directly to the pipe. Threaded and socket-weld caps, manufactured as per ASME B16.11, are suitable for smaller bore piping or systems requiring disassembly.
At Middle East Piping, we supply a comprehensive range of Pipe Caps in sizes ranging from ½” NB to 48” NB, meeting global standards such as ASTM A234, A403, A182, and DIN/EN equivalents.
