Ring Type Joint (RTJ) Flanges are precision-engineered forged flanges designed for high-pressure and high-temperature piping systems, where leak-proof sealing is critical. These flanges use a metal-to-metal sealing method with a specially machined groove on the flange face that accommodates a metallic ring gasket. When bolted together, the ring gasket is compressed into the grooves, creating a highly reliable seal that is resistant to vibration, thermal expansion, and extreme operating conditions.
RTJ flanges are commonly used in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, offshore, and power generation industries. They are ideal for systems transporting hazardous, flammable, or toxic fluids, where safety and seal integrity cannot be compromised. These flanges are typically used in Class 600 and above, going up to Class 2500, and are available in both weld neck and blind flange types.
At Middle East Piping, we supply a full range of RTJ Flanges in materials such as Carbon Steel (ASTM A105 / A350 LF2), Stainless Steel (SS 304 / 316 / 321), Duplex & Super Duplex (UNS S31803 / S32750), and Nickel Alloys including Inconel, Monel, and Hastelloy. All flanges are manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.5, B16.47, and API 6A standards. click here for pipes
