Zeron 100, classified as UNS S32760, is a high-alloy super duplex stainless steel known for its exceptional resistance to corrosion, superior mechanical strength, and outstanding performance in aggressive environments. It contains a balanced dual-phase microstructure of approximately 50% austenite and 50% ferrite, delivering excellent resistance to both uniform and localized corrosion.
With a PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) exceeding 40, Zeron 100 is among the most corrosion-resistant stainless steels available, making it a top choice for use in chloride-rich and sour service environments such as offshore platforms, subsea equipment, desalination plants, and chemical processing units. Its enhanced composition includes approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3.6% molybdenum, 0.7% tungsten, and 0.2% nitrogen, providing strong resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
Zeron 100 pipes offer excellent weldability and formability. They are available in seamless and welded forms, manufactured according to ASTM A790 / A928 standards.
